Introduction

Some regions of cirrus clouds have abnormally low depolarization. In my RGB plots this corresponds to a reddish color inside the green cirrus.

• ice grow to the right size such that crystal flutter increases depolarization. However, at these temperatures the dominant ice crystal habits are in the columner regime.
